Original watercolor, that has several
   different kinds and thickens of paper
   collaged to its surface. The size of the
   painting is 12"x16" and with a mat 3”
   wide consisting of two layers for a
   total size of 18"x22". The colors of
   the mats have been carefully selected
   to complement and enhance the painting.

   Even though the waves break farther out
   then these rocks, the water has worn them
   smooth. Most of them are made of
   granite, a very hard rock, so it took
   many years to get them this stage.
   It is enjoyable to watch and listen
   to the water move in and out among
   the rocks. I have not found many
   beaches made of big rocks like this beach,
   which is located on famed “17 Mile Drive”
   just north of Carmel California.
